To JP and family I send my sincerest condolences at this difficult time. Although many decades have passed JP I’m so glad we were finally able to connect through Facebook. I wish I could have met Carmen but it’s very clear from the pictures she was a very fun and loving wife and mother. She obviously touched many lives and was dearly loved by all. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories you had with her.
-
Amanda Curtis-
The loss of Mrs. Brown is felt by many I’m sure as she was a second mom to many of us growing up. I was blessed to have the Brown’s take me in and love me and care for me through the end of elementary school, middle school, and part of high school. My dad was a single Navy dad doing his best. I spent many nights sleeping over, enjoying fun , laughter, good food, and I’m blessed to still carry good memories as an adult.
She always had excellent comedic timing. That is something I will always remember and reflect on when I think of her. Jeanette and I would laugh all the time at her ability to jump into any situation at the right moment and make the best joke. Her food was a language of love in its own. I still can not find lumpia that measures up to hers!
She was taken from this earth far too soon! I pray that you all find comfort in knowing how much love she have everyone during her time her. How much love and safety she helped others feel! She was an angel her on earth, now she is with her Heavenly Father watching all of us.
I love your family dearly and thank you for all the support and love you’ve given me growing up!

Veronica Forbes-
You were my second mom and you gave me two amazing sisters. My entire childhood is colored by sleepovers at your house, singing karaoke at your work, and eating your yummy cooking. You always gave me the best Christmas presents and told everyone I was your daughter as you stuck me onto military bases. You were at every church performance and even tried to get me into the same school as your daughters. I miss you every day and it never seems like I spent enough time with you, did enough for your family or told you how important you are to me. Thank you for the gift of family and safety. I will talk about you often and check in on your family whenever they need me. Love you 💕!
